Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9)
All students study Geography at KS3. The course is designed to extend students’ knowledge, skills and understanding of Geography.
The course is divided into a number of units that will give students opportunities to investigate environments at different scales around the world. They will learn about patterns and processes in Geography and about how places are interdependent. They will use a range of enquiry skills and resources such as maps, texts, satellite images, ICT and fieldwork. Geography is a dynamic subject and we try to include topical information when appropriate.

Part of the year 9 course includes an e-learning unit that focuses on the themes of Tourism and Citizenship.
Key Stage 4 (Years 10/11)
Students can choose to study GCSE Geography at KS4. We follow the OCR Geography Syllabus A course.
This course is divided into three components:-
Knowledge and Understanding of the subject, worth 50% of the final grade Geographical Skills, worth 25% of the final grade
Coursework, worth 25% of the final grade.
The Programme of Study includes four main sections, each one divided into several units of work.

People and The Environment.
