Parents Teachers and Friends Association
The PTFA is open to all parents, teachers and friends of Hope Valley College and exists to help improve the quality of facilities available to all students at the College through fundraising events.
We also provide a forum for raising issues with the College and discussing issues with other parents and members of staff. On occasions the PTFA act as a representative parent group when the College wants to consult with p
arents.

Recent purchases for the college have included £10,000 matched funding for the Community Room, £3,500 for improvements to the Hall, the Hall projector and screen, staging for the Drama department, floodlighting for PE department and a laminator for Technology department. We have also helped to fund the climbing wall, lighting for Drama, drying rails for Art, shelving for RE and the Greenhouse for the Science department.
Funds are always needed for college facilities, we welcome any donations of your time for helping at events or if you are unable to give time the PTFA is a charity and registered for gift aid. We can claim the tax back on the money you give to increase the value of your donation.
