Term Dates
Term dates for 2011-12
Autumn Term 1: Y7 and Y11 start on Tues 6 September, all years in on Weds 7 September. Last day in College Thursday 20 October.
Autumn Term 2: College starts on Monday 31 October and finishes at 3.30 on Tuesday 20 December.
Spring Term 1: College opens to students on Thursday 5 January and closes at the end of Friday 10 February.
Spring Term 2: College opens on Monday 20 February, closes at the end of Friday 30 March. Note: Friday 24 February is Y9 Options day, College is closed to other students but Y9s are in and parents invited to join them for the afternoon. Also Friday 23 March is an INSET day where College is closed.
Summer Term 1: College opens on Monday 16 April and closes at the end of Friday 1 June. Note: Friday 27 April is an INSET day where College is closed, and the May Day holiday is on Monday 7 May.
Summer Term 2: College opens on Monday 11 June and closes at the end of Friday 20 July 2012.
Term Dates for 2012-13
Autumn Term 1: College will start for Y7 students on Tuesday 4 September, Y7 and Y11 students on Wednesday 5 September, and for all students on Thursday 6 September. College will close for most students at lunchtime on Thursday 25 October, but Y10 students and their parents are invited in to College that afternoon for a subject teacher meeting.
Autumn Term 2: College will open on Monday 5 November and close at the end of Friday 21 December.
Spring Term 1: College will open on Monday 7 January and close at the end of Friday 15 February 2013, although this last day will be for Year 9 students only (Y9 Options Day).
Spring Term 2: College will open on Monday 25 February and close at the end of Thursday 28 March (Good Friday is 29 March).
Summer Term 1: College will open on Monday 15 April and close at the end of Friday 24 May. May Day is on Monday 6 May.
Summer Term 2: College will open on Monday 3 June and close at the end of Friday 19 July.
Note: One further INSET day when College will be closed yet to be fixed.
