Curriculum Enrichment Programme
For a number of days in the year we abandon the timetable to run a programme of curriculum enrichment activities. We use these opportunities to run activities that take longer than a one/two hour lesson, frequently occupy a whole year group at a time and add to our normal curriculum. Sometimes one or more year groups will have normal lessons for part or all of the day, or be asked to work at home on set work - allowing us to put more personalised efforts into fewer students in College.
We use some external organisations to support this delivery and attempt to minimise the disruption to normal lesson time by running as many trips during these days as we can.
For five days in term 6 we run our Activities Week where a selection of residential trips are made available to students in different year groups.
