Want to join an adult education class? Look out for our new brochure, which is now available. Copies can be obtained at the College and in local post offices and shops.

Courses starting in September include:
Computing Workshop, Computerised Accounts (with SAGE) Level 2, Plastering -Introduction, (Aston Industrial Estate), Family Learning - Pottery , Construction - Plastering City & Guilds (Mondays at Aston) ; Welding City & Guilds, Mondays - day time or twilight, 5.30-7.30pm ; Introduction to Teaching Assistant; Spanish ( 3 courses); Italian ( 2 courses) ; French ( 2 courses); Woodwork (4 courses); ESOL; Lip Reading (Thursday morning); Keep Fit for Over 50s ( Bamford, day time) ; Pottery; Lace Making; Yoga ( 3 courses) ; Art (HVC and Grindleford) ; Fitness , Circuit Plus; Jewellery; Fly Fishing; Pilates; T'ai Chi; German and Plumbing.

Financial support is available for students on low incomes. Ask in the Community Education office for details. A mini bus comes to the college on Thursday nights. Please note that when you enrol for the first time on a course , you will need two pieces of identification. Please bring them with you to the first session of your course.
If you would like advice or guidance on further education or careers, we can arrange a meeting with one of our advice workers.
Ring or e mail us at the Community Education Office for any enquiries. If no one answers your call, it maybe because of we are busy elsewhere in the building. Do leave a message on our answer machine.
