Please note the arrangements for the start of term as follows:

Year 7 and Year 11 students are due in on Tuesday 7 September. All years are due back on Wednesday 8 September.

Work for the Tuesday for Year 8 and Year 9 students can be found below. The Year 10 science work is copyright protected and not available electronically but was issued (with the other years) at the end of the Summer term.

Starting in September the normal College day will begin at 8.55am and finish at 3.30pm. Revised bus timetables can be found below.

Congratulations to the class of 2005 who achieved excellent results this Summer!

78% of students gained 5 or more GCSEs at Grade C or above, with 63% of students achieving this including English and Maths.

38% of students gained 3 or more GCSEs at Grade A or A*, with 29% of all entries being graded at A or A*.

A group of Y9 students from Hope Valley College have completed a gifted and talented summer school.

Assistant Principal Terry Smith has retired after an illustrious 35-year teaching career.

The end of the Summer Term saw the departure of several members of staff.

Hope Valley College have set up an exciting new partnership with Theatre in Education (T.I.E) company Brief Candle.

Hope Valley College recently held a curriculum enrichment week allowing its students to experience a range of new and different activities.

The College's annual Open Evening for prospective parents and students saw a record attendance this year.

Hope Valley College has officially opened its state of the art mountain bike facility – making it the first state school in the country to offer such a high class facility.

Y10 Business students received a sweet treat recently as they completed a case study of The Real Fudge Company in Castleton.
